News Lifelong VISION consortium members at the Dutch Complement Symposium

17 April 2025

On April 11, Lifelong VISION was present at the Dutch Complement Symposium in Nunspeet with a strong delegation of 9 consortium members!

Caroline Klaver gave an inspiring presentation on complement factors in aqueous humor after pegcetacoplan treatment, while Niels van Dillen and Mahfam Shahabi showcased their work on complement profiling in age-related macular degeneration through posters.

The poster sessions and coffee breaks offered great moments for networking — exchanging ideas, forging new collaborations, and strengthening ties within the complement research community.

We’re proud to contribute to the growing momentum in complement research and excited for what lies ahead!
